Background and Expertise

After my biology studies and scientific work on climate change, I dedicated myself to environmental engineering and supporting strategy processes in the civil engineering sector. Additionally, I completed training in adult education, systemic coaching, experiential education, and psychosocial counseling. With this combination of ecological expertise and psychosocial competence, I became self-employed a few years ago and now coach and consult with people and organizations – for a good climate, from workplace climate to climate protection.

What combination of your expertise makes you special?

What do biology, environmental engineering, coaching, and end-of-life care have in common? They promote system understanding and a holistic perspective on people and their environment. Through my training and experience in these areas, my view of the whole has been sharpened.

Which aspect of sustainable business is underestimated in your opinion?

When people talk about sustainability, many think of "waste separation" and "driving is bad". But sustainable business requires more than individual measures and can only work when social, ecological, and economic dimensions are considered together.

What drives you in your work for sustainable transformation?

The vision of a fair, healthy society – social justice, ecological responsibility, circular thinking. Resilient economy for and with people in harmony with nature.

What do you value about working in an interdisciplinary team?

I particularly value interdisciplinary work because the right expertise is available in the team for every topic. This creates diverse perspectives that enable creative solutions and avoid blind spots.

How do you envision sustainable business in 10 years?

In ten years, sustainable business will have become a matter of course – it is the standard, no longer the exception. Companies operate climate-neutral, circular economy is established, and social responsibility is firmly anchored in business models.
